Carrie Goldstein is the President of Impact Image, a boutique public relations firm that has focused on small business, healthcare, physician and non-profit public relations campaigns for the past decade. Carrie has worked with top international public relations’ agencies as an integral part of their client campaigns. Her expertise includes overseeing the execution of comprehensive campaigns, providing strategic counsel, day-to-day project management, media relations, campaign material development, event planning and third-party and spokesperson relationship management.
Impact Image is the public relations agency of LaChance Publishing and has spearheaded the national launches for each publication in the Voices Of anthology series, which currently includes Voices Of Alzheimer’s, Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, Alcoholism, Autism, Caregiving, Multiple Sclerosis and Bipolar Disorder. Other client relationships include The Healing Project, a national non-profit organization that focuses on providing resources for patients suffering from life-threatening and chronic illnesses and the Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation, a national advocacy organization who's mission is to improve health status and quality of care through nurse practitioner innovations in education, research, health policy, service, and philanthropy.
Carrie’s experience includes national pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare campaigns such as the launch of GlaxoSmithKline’s alli™, the first over-the-counter weight loss drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She was also a part of the FDA approval announcement campaigns for Ortho-McNeil’s Ortho-Evra®, the birth control patch and Xigris®, Lilly’s first-in-class treatment for sepsis.
Carrie was the senior account team manager on the In The Know: What No One Tells You about Fertility campaign, which was recognized by seven national award programs and the subsequent male fertility campaign for EMD Serono. She executed the announcement of the Human Oocyte Preservation Experience (HOPE) Registry, the only comprehensive national patient registry in the U.S. designed to study the safety and efficacy of oocyte cryopreservation, commonly known as egg freezing at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Carrie worked on the Know Your Asthma Score and Expect More unbranded campaign featuring Jerome Bettis in partnership with the American Lung Association for GlaxoSmithKline. This program included 5 posters at the American College of CHEST Physicians highlighting the safety and efficacy of Advair®. Carrie was also on a team that conducted a national business leadership tour for MedPointe to introduce their new Chief Executive Officer.
Carrie is the President-Elect of the Public Relations Society of America’s Gulfstream Chapter. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Broward County and is the recipient of their 2009 Jerry "Tzvi" Wolf Young Leadership Award. Carrie has written freelance articles for the South Florida Hospital News.
Carrie began her career as the Campaign Manager for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s signature fundraising campaign, Team In Training. She graduated from the University of Maryland (College Park) University Honors Program, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics and a Certificate of Degree in Women’s Studies. Carrie has pursued additional educational opportunities through a Certificate of Marketing Management from Florida Atlantic University and a Professional Certificate in Designing and Building a Strategic Marketing Plan from NOVA Southeastern University.
Carrie is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; but works seamlessly with clients around the country.
